Speakers

  • Ian Scott

Ian Scott is an accomplished senior software engineer with more than two decades of experience designing, building, and deploying complex software solutions across a wide spectrum of industries. Based in Pompano Beach, Florida, Ian is widely recognized by colleagues and clients alike as the consummate "problem solver" — the engineer others turn to when faced with their most challenging technical obstacles. His passion for the craft traces back to January 2003, when a Microsoft Code Fest event ignited a lifelong commitment to the .NET ecosystem and, more broadly, to building software that works.

Over the course of his career, Ian has cultivated deep expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies while deliberately broadening his skill set to encompass modern cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and emerging front-end frameworks. Today he commands a comprehensive technical toolkit that includes C#, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, and PHP, supported by hands-on experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. His ability to move fluidly between architecture, development, database optimization, and infrastructure makes him an exceptionally versatile contributor on any engineering team.
